WebStyrene block copolymers (SBC) are composed of polybutadiene, or polyisoprene, and polystyrene block polymers. They are produced by living anionic polymerization. SBCs are transparent plastics with high impact resistance. They can be synthesized in linear or star-shaped form. Hydrogenation of the materials renders them UV-resistant and non-polar.
